AllergyEZ is free to use, has no accounts, and shows no ads. Sharing a card will never cost anything — that is the whole point of it.
We also want to build something bigger than a card — labels a parent can trust, adrenaline within reach of families who need it, kitchens that know what to do. That is what we are working toward, and we are honest on that page about how far off it still is.
Today, though, there is one thing money fixes immediately — and it is the most important weakness this app has.

None of them, yet. Every translated card carries an unverified translation that no professional medical translator has checked — we say so on the card itself. (English is the wording we wrote, not a translation, so it isn't in this count.)
Every translation here is unverified. We say so on every card, because pretending otherwise would be the worst thing we could do. Support goes toward having a qualified medical translator go through one language properly — every allergen name, every hidden-ingredient warning, every emergency phrase — and tell us what is wrong.
That is what your support goes toward. Not a logo, not a launch. One language at a time, going from “probably right” to checked by a human who would know.

Where it goes
Hosting, the domain, and getting the translations checked by native medical translators — that is what comes first, and it is the biggest weakness this app has.
Beyond that, we are a family building this in the open. If it ever makes more than it costs, that goes back into the project and into our family. We would rather say that than dress it up.
We are not a registered charity, so anything you send is not tax-deductible.
