If you read one of these languages
Every translation in AllergyEZ is unverified: a machine drafted it, and no qualified medical translator has read it. Twenty minutes here finds the phrase that is polite where it should be frightening.
What this is
You click through real cards — the same ones a parent hands across a counter — and mark each line right, wrong, too soft, or not sure. You can correct anything you flag, and say why.
The strings where being wrong sends someone to hospital come first, so stopping after ten minutes still helps. Nothing is wasted: we read what you did, not whether you finished.
What this is not
This does not certify anything. Volunteer review finds defects. It is not a professional review, and no amount of it makes a language pack safe to rely on. If we merge your correction, the card says some lines were edited by volunteers and in the same breath that it is still not verified — and every word about what the reader has to do stays exactly as it was. Only a qualified medical translator's review makes a pack verified, and none of our 13 languages has had one yet.
We cannot promise we will use any particular correction. We read what comes in. Corrections go into a report, get compared against each other, and the ones we act on change a pack in public, in git. Some will not be used — two reviewers disagreed, a term belongs to one region and not another, or we ran out of time. We cannot promise a reply, or a date.
Nothing you send makes anyone safer on its own. Please do not tell a parent that a card is checked because you looked at it. Parents still need a fluent speaker of their own, still need to talk to the kitchen, and still need the medication their doctor prescribed.
Unpaid, and no strings
This is unpaid volunteer work. There is no payment, no job, no application and nothing owed in either direction. Stop whenever you like.
We do pay for professional review: a native speaker with medical translation experience goes through one language properly, and that is what support money is for. This is not a cheaper version of that job and it does not replace it — it is what finds the worst mistakes while a language waits its turn. We are not asking you for money, and there is no donation button anywhere in this tool.
